Bay College is one of 8 rural Michigan community colleges that established the Michigan Global Awareness Consortium (MGAC) to collaborate and implement annual global awareness activities and programs.

MGAC also offers students opportunities for networking and study abroad. Students and facutly have traveled to a variety of countries through MGAC contacts, including Russia, Vietnam and China.
